Governique LLP ("we", "us") is a firm of Company Secretaries based in Erandwane, Pune, Maharashtra. This policy explains how we handle personal data shared with us through this website. We act as the Data Fiduciary for that data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the "DPDP Act") and the rules made under it.
What we collect
- Enquiry form: your name, company (optional), email, phone number, the area you need help with, your message (optional) and how you prefer to be contacted.
- Direct contact: whatever you choose to share when you call or email us.
- Technical data: our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the site securely and to protect the enquiry form from spam (Cloudflare Turnstile).
The compliance health check runs entirely in your browser. Your answers are not sent to us or stored anywhere.
Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and discuss the services you asked about.
- To keep a record of the enquiry if you go on to engage us.
- To keep the website secure and prevent abuse.
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or add you to mailing lists without asking.
Consent
We process enquiry data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit the form. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing governique@gmail.com. Withdrawal does not affect anything done before it, and we may need to keep certain records where the law requires it.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies and does not track you across other websites. Fonts and images are served from our own site. Cloudflare Turnstile may process technical signals to check that a form submission comes from a person, solely for security.
How it is handled and shared
Enquiries are delivered to the firm by email through a transactional email provider and are not stored in a database on this website. Only the partners and staff who need to respond can see them. We share data only with service providers who help us run the website and email (such as Cloudflare), with professional associates where you have asked us to involve them, or where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
If you do not engage us, we delete enquiry data within 12 months of our last contact. If you become a client, records are kept for as long as our professional and statutory obligations require.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you may ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and how it is used;
- correct, complete or update it;
- erase it, where we no longer need to keep it;
- nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity.
We will respond within a reasonable time and in any case within the period the law prescribes.

Security
The site is served only over HTTPS, uses strict browser security settings and keeps no stored database of enquiries. No method of transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable safeguards to protect your data.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
